DESCRIPTION
The Unity by the Shore Health & Wellness Fair will take place Saturday, October 13th, 2018 at UBTS. The hours open to the public will be 11 AM- 4 PM. This is an indoor fair and will be held rain or shine.  Vendor tables will be placed in the main room, as well as some private classrooms.

OUR MISSION
The Mission of the Health and Wellness Fair Mushroom Festival is to promote Health and Wellness that incorporates body, mind and spirit; educate the community about the wholistic local opportunities in our area and cross-promote within our community.

ELIGIBILITY

• Vendors in the area are given priority.
• Vendors who are also UBTS members will have first opportunity.
• No more than 3 vendors promoting the same goods or service.

SET UP & BREAK DOWN

• Please let us know how much space you will need. We have chairs and SOME tables, so let us know if you will need a table or if you have your own table. Please make your table professional and presentable with table cloths, professional signage, perhaps some plants or flowers. If you need some help with that, let us know.
• Vendors are to be prepared and have their table ready for opening by 10:30am the morning of the event.
• You can have access into the building at 9:30am. Coffee and tea will be provided.
• Vendors are required to operate and be present at their table from 11am – 4pm. Of course, you can visit the restrooms and speak with other vendors, but keep an eye out on your table. You cannot leave or break down before 4pm.

ADVERTISING AND PROMOTION
By being a vendor, you agree to promote and market this event to your clients and agents and allow us to use your name or company name in UBTS advertising and promotional materials, which could include: signage, flyers, announcements, social media, press releases and email blasts.

TITHING
Unity by the Shore is a self-supporting spiritual center that believes in the law of circulation. We ask that each vendor give to us 10% of their earnings or projected earnings from the fair to us. This is not a requirement, just a suggestion. Let’s keep the abundance flowing

GIFT BASKET
We are asking that each vendor offer an item or service of value to go into a gift basket to at a future Unity raffle event. This can be a gift certificate for an hour session or a piece of jewelry or a product. Each of the items, company name and brief company description will be displayed with a description on a flyer and during raffle and we will provide you the winner’s information once received.

PARKING
Parking is available in the lot. Please park in the back to keep room for the public once you have unloaded. We will direct you specifically, the day of the event.

We begin with a guided meditation that helps us decompress, as we set a group intention… The bowls play to what is needed in the room and you will experience a gentle “Sound Massage” that will leave you rested and renewed… Leave feeling lighter and brighter…

Please bring a yoga mat, blanket or any personal prop you have, if a reclined position is desired. Chairs will be provided for seating…

Honky Tonk Comes to UBTS!

September 22, 2018, at 7 p.m.

Please join us for a night of Honky Tonk fun as Jeannie and the Drivin’ Wheel will transform UBTS into a Honky Tonk Haven of great music.
Members of the band are no strangers to Unity by the Shore, but you will be pleasantly surprised to hear another aspect of their playing. We will have space for dancing, and in true Honky Tonk tradition, “adult beverages” will be served.

Jeannie and the Drivin’ Wheel have been performing all over the Jersey shore including Langosta Lounge, 10th Avenue Burrito, The Brighton Bar, as well as summer concert series in other New Jersey towns. After a recent performance at a Tenafly Summer Concert, Tenafly Mayor Peter Rustin said “Jeannie and the Drivin’ Wheel had the crowd dancing all night. They have a great sound and play great music, songs we all remember but many we don’t often hear!”

So come on out and join the fun on September 22 at 7 pm. The cost is $25 per ticket and includes refreshments and a snack.
All proceeds benefit the UBTS operating fund.

This year Silent Unity celebrates its 127th anniversary. All across the globe countless individuals have been supported through challenging times by this 24-hour, 7-day a week prayer ministry that was created in April of 1890 by Unity co-founders, Myrtle and Charles Fillmore.

World Day of Prayer (WDOP), which is sponsored by Silent Unity, was started in 1993 by a group of ministerial students. September 13, 2018, marks the 25th anniversary of WDOP, and thousands of individuals and communities around the world will come together to affirm and celebrate the true spiritual nature of healing.

Knowing the collective power of prayer, we join in a consciousness of wholeness that heals us, our family and community, our earth, and our world. ~ Rev. Linda Martella-Whitsett

1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Mindfulness facilitated by Judy Weaver
3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Sanctuary is open for silent prayer
6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Prayer service Rev. Angela Denton

Individuals may fill out a list of names of individuals that they would like Silent Unity to hold in prayer on September 13th. These lists can be filled out at UBTS and be placed in our prayer box. Or, individuals can go directly to http://www.unity.org/wdop to send in prayer requests online, as well as, light a virtual candle.
