Morning Meditative Prayer

As we approach Unity’s World Day of Prayer, I invite you to begin your mornings in sacred community through A World in Prayer, a four-week Morning Meditative Prayer practice.

This special time of year invites us to remember the power of prayer—not only as something we do, but as a way of being. Prayer is a conscious turning within, a resting in Divine Presence, and a willingness to listen deeply to the wisdom that arises from within.

Each Tuesday through Friday morning, we will gather for 30 minutes of meditative prayer and sacred stillness. Together, we will create a prayerful space to:

• Deepen our prayerful awareness and inner listening
• Consciously align with our Divine essence and inner guidance
• Hold ourselves, one another, and our world in the consciousness of Love
• Begin the day grounded, centered, and spiritually aligned

Whether you join us every morning or as your schedule allows, you are warmly invited to become part of this sacred circle of prayer.

A Zoom link will be emailed to all who have registered on Monday evening, September 7.

There is no fee to participate. Love offerings are gratefully received as an expression of appreciation and a joyful participation in the flow of giving and receiving.

May these mornings be an invitation to rest in Presence, listen within, and allow Love to come alive in us and through us as we hold our world in prayer.

8-Week Grief Support Group

A Space for Remembrance, Connection & Support

Thursdays, October 8 – December 3, 2026
6:00–7:30 PM | Zoom Only

No gathering November 26 in observance of Thanksgiving
Space is limited to 10 participants

Rev. Angela invites those grieving the death of a beloved(s) to join her for an 8-Week Grief Companioning Support Group—a compassionate and confidential space to honor grief, share memories, and experience connection and support.

There is no single way to grieve and no timetable for the journey. There are times when we need a place where our grief does not have to be explained, hurried, or fixed—a place where we can be met with compassion.

During Our Time Together, We Will Explore:

• Honoring your grief and your unique experience
• Making space for what you are feeling without judgment
• Sharing stories and memories of your beloved
• Navigating the changes that loss brings
• Exploring love, meaning, hope, and what sustains us as we continue to live

There is no expectation that you share more than feels comfortable. You may find yourself wanting to speak, to listen, or simply to be present. Being with others who understand the landscape of grief can offer comfort, connection, and companionship.

The intention is to create a caring community where grief is honored, stories are welcomed, love is remembered, and no one has to walk the journey alone.

This is a grief support and companioning group, not a therapy group.

Suggested Love Offering

$10–$20 per session
Please choose an amount that reflects your circumstances and consciousness of appreciation. Financial circumstances need never be a barrier to participation.

Registration

Advance registration is required. Space is limited to 10 participants.

A Zoom link will be provided to registered participants prior to our first gathering.

About Rev. Angela

Rev. Angela Denton is Minister of Unity by the Shore, a trained Spiritual Director through Unity Worldwide Ministries, and certified in Grief Companioning and as a Grief Sharing Circle Facilitator through the Metta Center under the guidance of Dr. Janice Lundy. Prior to entering ministry, she spent ten years in private practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist. She brings a compassionate, heart-centered presence to accompanying others through grief, loss, and life transitions.

This experience will be offered in person by Aryelle Alysha at Unity by the Shore and streamed via our Zoom platform. In-person attendees are welcome to bring a yoga mat, pillows, and/or blankets. An open space will be provided at UBTS, while those joining from home are encouraged to arrange their space and technology accordingly. If you prefer to remain seated in a chair, you are welcome to do so.
