Over the last few days, individuals all over our nation and the world have watched footage of the calamitous effects of Hurricane Harvey as it ripped through Houston, Texas and surrounding towns. Countless numbers of individuals and families have been forced to evacuate their homes and vehicles as floodwaters inundated streets, homes, businesses, churches, and medical clinics.

When floodwaters finally recede, the residents of Houston will be faced with the devastating and overwhelming task of rebuilding their homes and businesses, as well as, their lives. The leadership team of Unity of Houston will distribute funds directly to individuals and families in need of basic necessities and to those who need help to rebuild their homes.

It is with much sadness we share with you that Edythe Chartier’s brother-in-law, Adrian Giorgi, recently was in a fatal motorcycle accident and has made his transition. Please hold Edy, her sister Kari Giorgi, and their family in prayer.
