This year Silent Unity celebrates its 127th anniversary. All across the globe countless individuals have been supported through challenging times by this 24-hour, 7-day a week prayer ministry that was created in April of 1890 by Unity co-founders, Myrtle and Charles Fillmore. World Day of Prayer (WDOP), which is sponsored by Silent Unity, was started in 1993 by a group of ministerial students.
September 12, 2019, marks the 26th anniversary of the WDOP, and thousands of individuals and communities around the world will participate in individual prayer, prayer circles, services, and/ or ceremonies to affirm the Infinite Presence and Potential of God and to celebrate our Divinity.
10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Sanctuary is open for silent prayer
3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Sanctuary is open for silent prayer
6:30 p.m. – 7:45 p.m. Healing Prayer Circle with Reiki Share
Individuals may fill out a list of names of individuals that they would like Silent Unity to hold in prayer on September 12th. These lists can be filled out at UBTS and be placed it in our prayer box. Or, individuals can go directly to http://www.unity.org/wdop/submit to send in prayer requests online, as well as, light a virtual candle.
