Outdoor Prayer Circle

Unity by the Shore

Dear Friends,

I am thrilled to announce that I will be holding an outdoor prayer circle on the grounds of Unity by the Shore on Thursday, June 10th.  It will be wonderful to see you in person!   I cherish the opportunity for us to celebrate each other and to hold sacred space for one another as we step forward into new ways of being in community.  

Please bring your own chair to the circle.  Additionally, if you arrive prior to our 6 PM start, please park in the spaces that are the farthest from the building.   If you arrive after the start of the circle, park your vehicle in the spots closest to Asbury Avenue in our lot.  After doing outdoor events in the past, many have found the noise coming from cars parking and people exiting their vehicles close to where people are congregating to be very disturbing to the flow of an event. This will be especially true for a prayer circle. 

The Board of Trustees’ COVID-19 Guidelines:
Even though the Governor has lifted the mask mandate for fully vaccinated individuals as of May 28th, we are not going to inquire as to whether or not individuals at a UBTS gathering are vaccinated.  We are doing this out of respect for each person’s privacy.  Therefore, if we are going to be indoors and/or in close proximity to each other at any time, face coverings will be required.  This is for everyone’s protection.  However, while we are outside and maintain a social distance of at least six feet, face coverings will not be required during that time.

PLEASE NOTE: Per our insurance company and advice of counsel, you will be required to sign a waiver in order to attend this or any other UBTS gathering.
