Rising Above the Chaos: A Collective Call to Prayer

According to Merriam-Webster Dictionary chaos is defined as a state of utter confusion and as the inherent unpredictability in the behavior of a system. Numerous Supreme Court rulings as well as the corrupt and illegal behaviors of several of the Justices and others who govern and who seek to govern our nation have upset many in our community, in our nation, and in democratic countries around the world. Additionally, conflict, confusion, deceit, and autocratic ideology plagues the democratic body and process as we head into an important election in November.
These events have caused many to experience uncertainty, to become anxious and fearful about the current times we live in and in our personal and collective futures. Now more than ever we are called to live from the inside out grounded in our Divine Nature. Now more than ever we are called to live by the spiritual principles and teachings we profess to believe as well as in engaging in practices that empower us to embody Spiritual Wisdom, Faith, Strength, Love, Power, and all our other innate spiritual abilities.
Prayer is an essential spiritual practice that helps center us in Truth and supports us in living mindfully, intentionally, wisely, courageously, compassionately, and powerfully from our Divine Wholeness. Prayer not only has the power to shift our consciousness empowering us to live from our Divine Identity, but also can uplift the vibration of others in the world around us.
From July 16th to August 2nd Tuesdays to Friday from 7 to 7:40 AM, I am inviting you to come together virtually in prayer. Together we will participate in the prayer practices of Tonglen, Loving Kindness, Mindfulness, and Affirmative prayer.

We are both human and Divine. We may be powerless over other people and the impermanence of the physical world, but we do have the power to choose what we give life to in thought, word, and deed. Let our choices come from our inner wisdom and not from the pundits, media, statistics, and our fearful egos. Let our choices come from the highest vibration of Harmonizing Love and not of fear. Let us come together in prayer and choose to be the Light!
