The name “Maundy Thursday” comes from the Latin Dias Mandatum, which means the “day of the new commandment.  At the Last Supper the Master Teacher, Jesus, told the Disciples that the greatest commandment is to Love another.  Come and experience the Last Supper through the metaphysical lens as we reflect on the Cosmic Readings of Love from the Gospel of John, virtually break bread with one another, and deepen our embodiment of our 12 Spiritual Powers represented by the 12 Apostles.

NOTE:
Please bring a glass of wine or grape juice and a piece of bread to the virtual service.

How to Pray With Others

Whether you pray with others in an official capacity on your church prayer team, or with a prayer partner, your prayer work deepens as you deepen. Give yourself the gift of diving deeper into Unity’s approach to affirmative prayer with others.

In a course of study with Rev. Linda, you can expect to:

• Reimagine the method and flow of prayer taught by the Fillmores.
• Identify spiritual issues at the heart of prayer requests, the remedy for which can be claimed as spiritual capacities.
• Broaden your definition of GOD to include divine powers/principles that can be claimed and embodied.
• Practice speaking from spiritual authority, reminding others of their divine identity that can be realized and expressed.

This experience will be offered in person by Aryelle Alysha at Unity by the Shore and will be streamed via our Zoom platform.  For in-person attendees, you are welcome to bring a yoga mat, pillows, and/or blankets to this service.  An open space will be provided for you at UBTS; for those joining from home, we suggest you arrange your space and technology accordingly. Those wishing to remain seated in a chair are welcome to do so as well.
