Our Games & Giving "Souper Bowl" Food Drive for Calico Cat Pantry and Cupboard was a big success. Although team Kansas City, birthdays between July through December, was the winner in collecting more items, we as a community came together to have some fun and to spread our love through giving. Thank you to all have contributed to the food drive!

Unity Youth are empowered to use the 5 Unity principles as a compass for their lives. The Youth of Unity by the ShoreInvites you to Participate in... Games and Giving January 19th - February 2nd Our congregation will be divided into 2 teams. Team one will be all those who celebrate a birthday during the months of January through June. Team two will consist of individuals who celebrate a birthday during the months of July through December. Members of each team are invited to bring in non-perishable food items that will be given to support Calico Cat Pantry and Cupboard in Middletown, NJ who is in need of food to support those who can use a hand up. The team that collects the most food will be pronounced the winner and be given bragging rights. Please note we will still be doing our monthly collection to support Lunch Break. Gwendolyn Lewis is our New Youth Director!
Let Us Welcome and Celebrate Our New Youth Director, Gwen Lewis Gwen has been a member of Unity by the Shore for 8 years. During this time Gwen as been a vital part of our community. She served on our board of trustees for 6 years, facilitated countless Fundraisers, was part of our music ministry, and currently is a platform assistant and a Prayer Chaplain. Gwen has a servant’s heart and not only participates in sacred service within our community, but has been an active leader in the New Jersey chapter of the Women’s Club. In addition, Gwen has dedicated her life to Inspiring, teaching, and supporting youth. Here are some of the many ways Gwen has positively influenced and inspired youth: She has fostered 46 loving youths, who were wards of the state and hard to place.Worked for 27 ½ years at the Maximum Security Youth Development Center in Pennsylvania.Mentored…
Sunday, August 11, 2019 – Come Celebrate Sally Kurth
For the last twenty years, Sally Kurth has served as Unity by the Shore's Youth Director. After much soul searching, Sally has decided to step down as leader of our youth program to pursue other passions of hers, such as expanding her healing ministry, massage and polarity therapy, and her advocacy of vaccination awareness. On August 11, 2019, I will be honoring Sally at our Sunday service and we will have an ice cream celebration after the service.
