Dear Friends,
Have you ever looked closely at the sea shells on the beach? It’s my
favorite finding as I walk, pick one up and examine it closely. The shells are all so
different. Yet each one is beautiful in its own way. And they have such beautiful names
like Cowrie, Moon shell, Sunshine shell. People are a bit like these sea
shells – no two are ever quite the same. We have been created by the same
Father/Mother God who loves and cares for us but each one brings something
distinct, something new to the world to share.
As the Bible explains “There are different kinds of spiritual
gifts….different ways of serving…and different abilities to perform
service.” (1 Corinthians 12:4-6). God wants to express through YOU. You can be a light for the world! Make this
your Intention. You may ask how can I be of service in such a turbulent
world? As we here at Unity Church by the Shore deepen our faith - making Principles
our priority, practicing our Core Values, (walking our talk) we come to realize
more fully that LIFE IS CONSCIOUSNESS and that Life is to be lived from the
inside out. This is the path that each one of you are on – a path of spiritual
power and when you commit to living your life with Intention, you actively and
consciously participant in God’s Vision of good unfolding in our world. The greatest
gift you can give is from your Divine Essence, that Sacred Space where “all
things are possible”.
There is no better time than now to step into the flow of life and share
your gifts and talents. When you offer your gifts from a loving heart, you are
embracing life itself and the blessings return to you one-hundred-fold!
The world Intention comes from the Latin word “intendere” which means to stretch forward. What greater “arena” to “stretch – in this spiritual
community!
We embrace you with your abundant God-given gifts! Let us share with one
another!
